Well that’s a bit of a different issue, but I can give you a cliff notes answer if you’d like. There are dozens and dozens of methods to infer a date for the Earth. The results range from 4.5 billion years to only 6,000 years and many dates in between. I believe the methods that yield dates in the billions can be explained away by the fact that they assume a global flood did not occur, and they also do not have any control. Those methods have never accurately dated a rock of known age, so why assume they can dates rocks accurately of unknown age? I think that the majority of dating methods actually yield dates on the “younger” end of the spectrum for the earth than the old. Evolutionists require long periods of time though, so you will never hear them admit that the earth could be younger than 4.5 billion years. It really is just a house of cards though.

Could you point me in the direction of an example of a dating method that comes close to a date of 6,000 as this is the first I've heard of it?

There is a massive list of wankers who believe in creation. So what? It has no bearing on how they got their PhDs, because you can bet dollars to donuts that they didn't do dissertations titled, "Jesus and Anklyosaurus: Clubmates?"

I think that question was far too easy and innocuous. Answer this one: How many of them publish regularly in credentialed scientific periodicals, and of the ones who do, how many toss in their creationism bullshit? Bet that list shrinks pretty precipitously there.

Fucking hell. When is this dark age dementia going to end?

I'd love to read that.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me I didn't understand the assignment. I told them they didn't understand life.

In the late 60's I attended a lecture at college from a man named Robert Welch who was the founder and head of the John Birch Society - a bunch of shitheads who thought there were communists under every rock. What's amusing is that throughout his lecture he kept referring to books which supported his case and then noted that the books would be on sale in the lobby.

Upon inspection, it was found that what we had here was a little circle jerk going on. All the books were published by the same company and all the authors were members in good standing of the Society. Creationists pull the same kind of scam. Someone with a degree in "theology" or some such useless shit, writes a book and then all of the dickheads point to it as proof of their position. I recall checking one of those morons out and finding out that he's a fucking "Moonie."

Creationists are con artists. Fully functional representatives of their phony fucking god.

Article Wrote:What does he mean specifically by Intelligent Design? Meyer doesn't bother to tell us. How much 'information' or 'complexity' does an organism contain and how is it measured in the article? Meyer doesn't give the slightest hint. How could we test or falsify his hypothesis of IDC? Nope, he doesn't say that either.

Meyer's paper was promptly ripped to shreds by legitimate scientists ; after they recovered from the hysterical laughter the paper produced among any one of them who took the time to read it.

Good article Min. Not remotely surprising ... but good.

This wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for the rise of Atheism, yet it is still wrong because they are presenting myth as fact and to young impressionable minds who do not have the knowledge to question such fiction. It is sad that this is now here. I would associate it with fundamental Christianity in America, but not in England where generally no one really cares what your religious beliefs are. This should be stopped period. I wonder if there are any legal steps that could be taken to prevent the spread of these zoos, because if not, they will simply multiply.

I agree with Dawkins in his contention that inculcating religion into children is child abuse.

Absolutely.
The other side of that is my father - telling me that I'm aiding in the damnation of my son's soul. (he's 3)
