His religious pronouncements diminished after he had secured power. They were a means to an end, not an end in themselves. Religion was only invoked because Germany was predominantly Christian. Had it not been then it would either have never been referenced by him, or insignificantly so.

Maybe he just became less devoted to his Christian followings so he mentioned them less. Yes, Hitler referenced Christianity because Germany was Christian, but that says nothing about his true beliefs. At the end of the day, you were not in his head, and any claim you make on his beliefs is just speculation.

Also this : Himmler was a Pagan and strongly disapproved of Christian weddings for S S officers. If Hitler was as religious as is suggested, would he have allowed someone with those views to be given so much power and authority within the Third Reich ?

In one sense it doesn't matter, since the many followers he convinced with talk about God certainly did believe. Even in the unlikely event that Hitler wasn't himself religious, the atrocities he instigated were still done in the name of religion.
