Islam is one of the sub-groups of religion that can spawn Literal Satanists, yeah. You have to accept belief in Satan to be this type of Satanist (yes I know that modern satanism is not representative of this). Only so many books you can open and find that old dragon nowadays.

Rayaan has already explained this. The provisions of a cosmic mandate are subject to local variations in angle of orientation, due to the orbit of the earth. Yeah, you could just move to a part of the earth with very little sunlight during Ramadan and pretty much avoid the "fasting" all together!

Ramadam, minus the superstition, is a way of eradicating addictions. There is nothing mystical about it and it has nothing to do with devils. You can lose addictions using will power. Or you can be a muslim and have will power replaced with life-long spoon-fed toilet training from the nanny. But that would make life so dull.
