No, I do not believe in God. From my perspective, God was created by self-interested men so men could put fear into their citizens to control their citizens in their societies. I find that God is a superstitious entity. But, I am still skeptical about whether God really does exist or not because I have not been convinced that God exists yet.

Earlier than that we no doubt had old men sitting around a camel dung campfire "explaining" the world to the younger people. I would imagine that some of them were afraid they would no longer be fed if they didn't keep the "good stories" coming. Today religion is a business with an non-substantial product that costs nothing to make and costs the consumer all out of reason. RE: Quick Poll - Do you believe in God?

Storytellers aren't afraid that they'll have to keep telling stories to be fed (that's what sparks joy for them)....they're afraid when they keep keep telling stories and people still don't feed them.
