Big boombox, muslim call to prayer, church steps. All I have to say.

On the other hand, there is surely a ridiculous law that can be leveraged against you but not them. So that's always a concern.

I live right in front of a church, and I hear you. It's up on the hill which is directly BEHIND where I live. Less than a minute walk. I hate all the damn bells.

If it's got a steeple attached to it - I hate every noise and every idea that spews forth out of it. When did the godboy ever ring a fucking bell anyway?

I think its purpose of the bells is just this, annoy the fuck out of people. "All right, all right, I'll come to church if you just stop ringing those bloody bells!!"

The church I live in front of, has some kind of electric bell system that can be heard a far distance away. It plays a song for about 15-30 minutes, at certain hours of the day (and night) Once the bell was on for about an hour, playing the hymn Gloria in excelsis Deo.(I think that's the name of it, not too sure!) S'all I know, It's really damn annoying.

Well, at least these churches are loudly professing the truth that its is now 2 in the AM, as opposed to their usual bullshit.
