Point me please. I have to get some z's now, but if you would be kind enough to indicate the post (eg quote from it is the easiest way) I shall be happy to look into this supposed blunder for you tomorrow.

RE: Social Functions
Post number 14. You suggest that atheists would need spiritual solace to deal with the totality of it all because it's just "so big." Though I can see that you sidestepped ghosts, you seem to be indicating that a man is not up to being able to take in his world, reflect, and act without losing his marbles unless he has some sort of religion.

You really do seem to be trolling. All of your posts follow the same general syllogism:

All men are mortal.
Mortals need religion.
All men need religion.

You have received pretty adequate refutation of this set of premises and your conclusion, and yet you continue, now even asking to be banned. Pure trollery, and you're getting away with it.

I didn't "sidestep" ghosts, I specifically excluded them you wonka. "I don't mean, like, ghosts and stuff. "

I certainly like a bit of solace from time to time, if only when I think about my own mortality and what I'm leaving behind for my children, my grandchildren and future generations hopefully to come. Not to mention the death of a loved one (the word "love" have any meaning for you? Or is it all just a chemical process?), even the birth of a little one is a wondrous event. Plus there's other sh1t.

The religion bit is just your obsession revealing itself.. I made no mention of it in the post (although the word appears in the quote of Shell B).

That's your interpretation. I merely suggest that in reality religion does provide some facilities or services (whatever) that some people seem to require.

"All men" BTW? Any females figure in your stark utopia?

Conclusion? What conclusion would that be then?

Feel free to put in a word on my behalf, by all means. You know, if you really wanted me out, you'd probably simply ignore me.

Seems to me you could do with some solace, old son.

Godnose, when you aren't worshipping whatever god you worship, and then trolling here, what do you do to pay your bills? You are clearly overwhelmed by the world and on a crusade to take your angst global. Do you work for your church?

I was heavily conditioned by feminists in the 60s/70s. And I tell you this: once you been through that man, your outlook changes...

I am in receipt of the reward of a long life well-invested, old darling. Dosh from The Plan. I was a baby boomer you know - said by some to be the luckiest generation ever to have walked this Earth.

But how am I overwhelmed? I don't feel overwhelmed. I do feel a bit angry of course (not at you, I hasten to add, but at all the sh1t that is going down) but I keep on truckin', man...
