While the main purpose is to spread your seed, you only live once... And the fact that we are lucky enough to be this self-aware we can truly enjoy life...

You should do things for yourself... If you get off on helping others then fair enough, but I live for myself...

Just do whatever you want... Drink a bit too much...smoke way too much...and fuck so much to give yourself a limp...
There won't be another time to do it.........well, in all likelihood anyway.

There is more to life than just this one role to carry our code.
But when people ask what is our main purpose in life or what is the purpose in life.
It is to create offspring.

It is to have fun. The fastest path to no longer having fun: having offspring. Having offspring is not "our" main purpose, as it is not one of my purposes at all.

Sure happiness and the pursuit of living life to the fullest is great.
But that doesn't continue the existence of a species.

I agree that it is great... and I don't give a damn if it continues a species or not.

Infact, I would like to eradicate a solid number of species... mosquitos and other bugs and creepy crawlies and birds can all go extinct, and I would like them to do so.

I will feel very satisfied when I have my first child.
From then on, each child and grand child until I die will be a greater satisfaction,
That I have done my purpose in life.

To be out for oneself means that they set themselves as their number one priority. It does not preclude their acting kindly to others, although this is obviously unnecessary.
