Humans are the only living species in the Homo genus of bipedal primates in Hominidae, the great ape family.
- We are animals.

I know there are places where overpopulation us through the roof,
and there are certain humans with genetic incurable diseases.

Another thing, I could point out is that I could call anything I wanted subjective.

Let's take a penny for example -
Most of you would say a penny is very small.
I think a penny is HUGE! Compare a penny to an atom.

Most of you would say the sky is blue.
A colorblind person may perceive the sky as purple.

I'm not trying to say that there's only one purpose in life,
that there is nothing more to life.
Our MAIN purpose in life is to reproduce.

Same principle applies... there is nothing wrong with small s selfish. It is the BIG S SELFISH that is the issue.

I was / am a single mother of two very talented and challenged individuals. They have taken EVERYTHING I could ...$$ financially have... and left me with nothing...I am NOT complaining as I think that it was done for me so I pass on the favour (pay it forward - so to speak)

You CAN get so wrapped up in your kids as to forget to care for yourself and then people wonder why you left them to struggle all alone in this life while you have died of exhaustion.

In all honesty you wish you could..but then he/she will do something that touches you and you forgive them for every rotten thing they have ever done up to that point. And then it starts again. parenting is NOT a great job, the pay sux, the hours suc, and the rewards are a long time coming. but....

I think it's bullshit philosophy. You are too concerned with purposes... but purposes are reasons for something being done or created. And the universe is mostly unreasoned... you will notice the majority of it is incapable of thinking at all. Purpose as the all important point of a philosophy is moronic.

Existence is not subjective. What it entails certainly is... but there are at least 4 things that are not: Something. Everything. Nothing. Existence. None of these can not be so

You are saying that reproduction is a purpose. But it is not a purpose any more than gravity is a purpose. Or nuclear fusion. Both of these are just as important for the development of life on this planet... why do you not give the star in our system due credit?

Purpose does not describe things as they are... it describes things as they are valued. If you are putting a plant on a starship, you might have a reason for it.... and if you do: that is the purpose behind the plant's being there. But without intelligence and actions behind something being done: it is without purpose. Entirely.

And now do you tell us that you believe in some sky daddy to give purpose to everything?

I was a mere penny short for my bus fare and got kicked off, in the rain.

I went to an ATM that only gave out £20 notes, lovely, so with that I tried to get onto the next bus, soaking wet, only to be scolded by this driver because he had no change. >.>
