The last third of the reply text box is cut off

Ever heard of this before? When I go to reply, the last third of the box is gone, and it's just the background border. I can't get it to resize of anything, so any tips?

For me on latest FF there's a drag handle bottom right to re-size the box.

For what it's worth, it works for me on Firefox 6 on both Ubuntu 11.04 and Windows 7. OP mentioned he's using a netbook, I'm wondering if it's an issue related to window geometry?
