Unfortunately for us Rhythm, we do not have the knowledge of God. As only God has knowledge of our destiny, I hope you can see that our choice is unhindered. Unless you are telling us that you know that people have this ability?

Good, no knowledge of god, then stop talking about it as though you do. It doesn't matter who knows the future, it could be the 32ounce cup I got at 7-Eleven. If the future can be known it is written, this is not a reality in which choices are actually made. See, we don't need to know anything about god to know that this particular argument is bullshit. Matter of fact, there isn't anything in all of human experience that requires knowledge of god. Strange indeed. Honestly, I'm relieved. If I had to check my bible every morning before my toaster worked I'd probably give up on toast.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

How does that change predestination Rhythm?
Did you mis-read that? Knowledge of God = know what God knows. Quote:But by the rules of the book you live by, the majority of people would go to hell. That is why we have a thing called grace, or God's character of favour. Grace is the idea that we all sin, we all fall short of the rules. It is not about rules it is realising we can all have a relationship with God that when we get closer to him our sin gets less. He empowers people to stop sinning becase we know his rules help us. As an example drinking might be fun for some people, but I know of a friend who was hit by a car becase he got so drunk, broke ribs and all. So for me I don't drink at all becase I know it can cause harm. So God's rule about drinking is to keep people from harmful things. God is not about rules, you must keep my rules or else I will destroy you, rather he is about showing us the rules are to benifit us, and help us. He actually does really care about peoples walfare, believe it or not.
Hey I love God he is awsome.

You mean God cares about our welfare Why must we drag this huge negative baggage of sin around our whole lifetime? When all we have to do is adjust our mistakes along each step of the way in life? So when bishops and priests(who, presumably are closer to god than you or I ) rape little boys how does that work out? If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. |
