"It was only till stupid intolerant Christians came into the world that they became hated."
First of all all Christians are commanded by God to love the sinner by hate their sin. Many quote, unquote Christians miss the boat in this area. God loves the lost as well as the saved. He will forgive any sin if we are willing to repent.
If your brother is gay and also claims to be a Christian I offer the following scriptural statements. "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worship and served the creature more than the Creator who is blessed forever, A-men. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense (penalty) of their error which was meet (due). And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate (degenerate) mind, to do those things which are not convenient (suitable)." (Romans 1:24-28)
You are an atheist and you brother considers himself to be a homosexual Christian. I rest God's case. Tell your brother no man can serve two masters. He has to make a choice or it will not work in his favor. Sorry but God's Word is the final authority for every one of us no matter who or what we are, or what we might believe. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9) God loves sinners. Jesus demonstrated that in his ministry. As a just and holy God he will have no other choice than to judge us all for what we do in opposition to his Word. God saves sinners when they repent and turn away from the sins that so easily beset them. Christians are sinners that strive to be holy like God. We can not make it on our own effort. We always fall short. That is why Jesus paid our price for us. Few will make it. My faith is in him alone and what he says in his Word. Not preaching just saying what is written in the book.
It is amazing how believers are attacked with statements like ignorant, closed minded, and bigot for telling the truth that is written in God's Word. Amazing how self righteous most atheist are in their comdination of Christians. Your brother and his weakness for men is no different than a man like myself who is very drawn to the beauty of a woman. It the same lust that drives both of us. One is natural and the other unnatural. God gives me the strenght to over come my natural desires of my flesh just as your brother can be delivered of his if this is truly what he wants. It is all sin no matter of how anyone else sums it up. You want Christians to be tolerant of your views while on the other hand we are blasted bu you on ours. This street runs both ways. Tell your brother to reade Gods views on how he feels on the subject.

Disagree.......Christians are instructed in the Bible to hate the sin and not the sinner. Homosexuality is a sin just like fornication, child molestation, murder, lying, etc. God is the one who will judge all of our unrepented sins. Jesus showed compassion for all sinners. His instruction to them was go and sin no more. To sin or not to sin, that is the question. We are sinners by nature. Only God can give us the ability to overcome our carnal natures and resist the sins that so easily beset us all. Christians are not perfect people like some of them would like everyone else to believe. Self righteousness is one of the greatest sins of all. Homosexuals like everyone else can be saved. Simply repent, and do not yield to the forbidden act any more. Some sins are very difficult to over come, and homosexuality is on the top of that list. Seductive unclean spirits have to leave the body of a repentant soul. God can heal anyone of any seduction if they are willing to put their trust in him.
Are all species capable of sin, then? Or just the 1,500 species that have homosexual sex?
I think I am going to start my own religion wherein it's a sin to be a bigoted, ignorant, repugnant shithead. I'll call it Anti-Christianity.
If you deny that homosexuality isn't a choice, but rather part of one's biological make-up, then you deny clear scientific fact.
Someone already posted this, but you should watch it, although I'm sure your brain is glued shut with the snot of jebus, and you won't accept it. Regardless, I am making an effort to help you understand reality.

Furthermore, can you prove the existence of "Seductive unclean spirits"? My brother is gay. He is also a Christian. He just recently came out to his very fundy family, and they said they'd known he was gay since he was a child. He's waited so long to come out because of fear of condemnation from his family, and suffered severely because of personal guilt for just being who he is. He confided in me that he does love his Christ, and he has given his heart to god, but is still attracted to men and can't help it. What would you say to him? He needs to pray harder? He's not a true christian?
Who do you presume yourself to be?
I presume you to be an ignorant, closed minded, bigot... but I don't condemn you, nor assert that you deserve condemnation. I have morals, as well as rationale.
