When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Oh, you missed a meme. It's Horatio Caine, from CSI Miami, and he (allegedly) always says a pun like that in the beginning of an episode, when they've discovered a body. Here's an example:

One of my lecturers used that picture in a digital forensics lecture last week.

I bet that really put a damper on the potluck they had after the service. "Sister Catherine made meatballs everybody! Dig in!"

Yeah, but must be painful. You have to have a lot of will power to do it.
Or just be cuckoo.

I don't know why you guys are surprises by this. Church always made me want to pull out my eyeballs too.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

But you didn't. I can imagine that it doesn't surprise anyone either.
