It's obvious in the NT that Jesus was all for free market economy, and communism was condemned as an evil abomination. Moreover, it says specifically that Obama was going to be the anti-Christ, whose going to take your guns away and force you to take health insurance against your will.

It's an overt declaration and glorification of all of the shit between our ears that we would like to sweep under the rug (at least those of us with any decency whatsoever). There isn't anything at all that we do that I find more embarrassing and infantile. I'd hate to be the guy that had to explain ourselves to some observer when pressed about religion. For all of our accomplishments I'd feel about 2 inches tall trying to wave that one away.
