That's not quite right, is it? I presume there are not outside exits in every room of a whorehouse. Besides, they are not protected right now. We have plenty of businesses that require a woman to be alone with a man. Not all of these interactions are videotaped. Furthermore, not all strip clubs have video cameras in the boom boom room.

Just look at the bunnyranch. They don't have problems, neither does Amsterdam. If I was emperor, prostitution would be like Amsterdam.

Sure there are plenty of businesses that require a woman to be alone with a man, but we're talking about brothels. How do you know not all strip clubs don't have security cameras in the VIP room? These days I would say nearly all of them do. I have been a few myself, and the only one I have ever seen with no cameras was this tiny little joint in Athens, AL... they had "peepers" which are security guards who watch from the other side of a mirror. That was in 2002. In 2003 they got cameras.

Anyway, like I said, security cameras in a strip club or a brothel are not only for security and protection of the girls, but for liability. Lots of brothels have them, especially in the US and Australia. In Asia.. not so much. According to my research, some even broadcast the footage on the internet and in exchange the man doesn't have to pay. Brothels don't have locks on any of the doors, and most of them do have cameras.

Well, prostitution is legal in Turkey, at least.
But it has an interesting hint to it, as it is very unlikely that you will come across a Turkish prositute in a Turkish brothel.
Most are actually from ex-soviet countries, gypsies and (formerly) christian girls(mostly greeks and armenians).
In fact, it was the armenians who ran the prostitution business in Turkey until the ukrainians and russians hit the place, and street pimps became more common, and legal prostitution is on a steady decline now.

Don't blow smoke up their asses. There are plenty of turkish girls working in turkey as prostitutes. Nice girls. The gypsies and other "lesser peoples" are also very cute. I honestly don't understand anti-prostitution laws.

Well, I know none, and I've been to many brothels in Ankara. Most of them are not really of the local population, else they would be almost instantly identified.
Traditionally, gypsies were wandering prostitutes, just like they still are in areas without brothels.

Yeah... that threw me for a loop too.
Better would be if the poll options were 'legal' and 'illegal'.
Anyway... I want prostitution legal. Why? Because it means that if I need a job that doesn't involve me stabbing someone and taking their money: I can always get one.
