Absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much, you're awesome! Worship (large)

(But is it only me who suddenly gets the urge to make an AF music project, you know, everyone who can sing and play an instrument would play the same song and they would be mixed together..? Blush )
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

That might be possible. We need two things - the correct key and a tempo track. The timing will be the tricky part. I'm not sure what medium to use to make it the easiest. Key is easy though.

That certainly would be amusing to try.
If someone recorded a rhythm part over a tempo track and passed the recording on to the next person to add their instrument... That may work.

I could put it together, I have some video editing software. If we started with something kind of simple, and the drummer went first, it wouldn't be too hard I don't think. Maybe I'm underestimating how easy it would be though. Either way, up for trying it.

I suppose I should buy some guitar strings... My telecaster has been missing the high e for a while.
I think I'm starting to forget what it is like to have one Tongue

Whenever I've recorded tracks like that, we put a microphone in front of the amp. You know you're getting the sound you want then. Going directly in to the computer has proved problematic for me in the past.

Nice to know. I was leaning that way anyways, I didn't really like the idea of patching off the preamp/effects loop and risk blowing the input on my laptop.

Yeah, I do have the software already. Time to spring for a mic and stand.

If you could get everybody the rhythm track for the entire song, we could all work on it at our leisure and just turn it in to someone upon each one's completion.

We just need the right song. Something easy enough for everybody and preferably vocal free until all the tracks are in.

I'm pretty good at mixing down if that's something everybody would want to do.

It's a fun idea, and I'm definitely in for an international conglomeration. Big Grin

EDIT: I believe the good ReverendJeremiah plays bass.
