Is there a particular thread that should be used for posting our own artwork?

Basically the title says it all, I just need to know if there is already a thread for artists here to share their work and talk about art, or should I start one, and if so, then where would be the right place? I'd also like to know if we are only allowed to link out to deviantArt when showing our pics or can we just shoot em up here, I just need to know what is the preferred method on here. Cheers in advance for any answers or help given.

Not really a thread, you can either post them in the media forum or the arts forum, depending if you feel your work is art or not.

Thanks people, I think I might just put out a call for artists on a thread and see how many visual artists there are here first before starting up a thread, I would feel a bit weird just putting loads of my own pics up. I appreciate the info though.
