2. They produce data from experiments based on that idea.
   
3. They publish that idea in a paper.
   
4. Other EXPERTS in that field go over every minute detail looking for even the tiniest mistake or dumb assumption. They pound the living fuck out of the idea, data and method from all sides all at once.
   
5. The idea holds up.
   
6. Other experts in the field try and replicate the experiments.
   
7. They publish their findings.
   
8. Step 4 is repeated

He is good at logical yoga, logics judo and I like him. He started with a complete reversal of situation by giving the burden of proof to us despite the fact that any encyclopedia or teacher would have given him the answer. He then rejected fossils and fossilisation. Yet a lot of folks got angry and annoyed, which is what he wanted to see.

All we have to do is not to take interest in his dismissal of everything around but to ask him what his personal explanation is. And that's the great thing about creationists, be them young earth like some fraction of the christians or old earth creationist like the indus. The fun really start when they give their explanations not when they try to sound smarter than science itself. That's where the weak unicorn stories come up.
