The reason why she sold her goodbye letter to her children to a newspaper was to finance the treatment to her cancer. Also the doctros where positive that she was so open to her illness, that becasue it gave better understanding to people about the cancer. I think it's wrong for people to judge her. She may have not been a very good person, I don't know haven't really heared about her or anything. But, and I just assume this, since no one her knew her privatly do I not think people should go and write trash about her. I don't think english press are good at delivering a fair and truthful story about someone. As I said, not really heared about Jade Goody, but I heared about her cancer and so on. So I will not say that I've heared or seen all things about her. I just know that she dided a tradgical death and that she have two children, which probably are quite sad.  RE: the late Jade Goody

I make a point of avoiding big brother and have only seen the key points relayed by the news. Its not an unbiased view as im sure editors were all over it every step of the way to force their own agenda. First for big brother then for the news. As people with no access to the raw footage we only have the editor's word for it that these things happened as they said they did. I doubt their honesty as the above just sounds more cartoon character than human being.

No you had to see it rjh. Some stuff was never aired, but as this thing's on all day, every day, you can get a pretty good idea. You certainly couldn't say there wasn't a lot of footage. It is an emotionally charged experience which is designed to get people to react. Jade was a simple person who said what she thought. She was a motormouth but was essentially good hearted. The majority of the audience loved her for it which showed in her success.
 
Am just being cynical? When someone is referred to as "a simple person", I immediately think;"stupid,ignorant and insensitive".
Saying a person has "a good heart" is like saying "they mean well" which is the fatuous excuse beloved of proselytising Christians and other stuffwits to excuse the most appalling behaviour.

Yes cynic!
 Jade was literally quite ignorant and insensitive. I meant more 'basic'; uncomplicated. She wasn't nasty with it. She honestly didn't seem to know what she was doing sometimes. She got very carried away lots of times, but wasn't ever one to hold a grudge, type of thing. Like Atheist stuffwits too I guess you mean? 
My irritation with the whole thing remains with the media for promoting her above so many others with what I feel was real talent, outside of being basically "ignorant" she wasn't at fault indeed it's not only worth noting her childhood (she was apparently rolling joints for her mother at age 5 or some such) it's worth pointing out that she had a role as a dental nurse before going on BB which makes her smarter than I thought she was.
