I don't know, but we Turks feel some sort of a connection with the native Americans to some extent.

It is extremely tragic. I've read many horrific first-hand accounts of what was done to my Cherokee ancestors in the name of god and manifest destiny. Doing so never fails to make me sick to my stomach. It wasn't just "pack up and get moving, you have a new home now"...it was slaughter, rape, and torture. My Mexican ancestors fared no better.
That will never hold up in court...

And it was really done in such a systematic nature..And still, the native Americans have no real place in the lands their ancestors have made their home.
