Why I'm an agnostic-atheist.

RE: Why I'm an agnostic-atheist.
Quote:Come on Cap. If you are up there you will not be an atheist. God never said in the scriptures he was not willing to forgive any sinner. He forgave me and I was one of the worse that was out there. I was a scumbag that found grace in his eyes. It was the best day of my life when I purposed in my heart to seek him out. I have no problem believing that his Son Jesus (Yeshua) died on a cross for me and that there is a place beyond my human imagination waiting for me when my time is up.
Why would he or anybody have to die on a cross for other peoples sins? This story is simply insane!

Quote:He cleaned up my drug infested, booze saturated, fornicating lifestyle. I went to seek him and he found me. We all need his help and when we search him out he will make himself known to us.
You cleaned up your life, he didn't. Wouldn't you want to clean up your life whether he existed or not?

Quote:I had a cancerous tumor removed from my leg the size of a small banana. I received radiation treatment for it following the operation.
How do cancer cells get there? Do they just appear from nothing or are they put there by our creator? Why did you go to the doctor instead of praying it away? Why bother with the radiation when the power of prayer should be the answer?

Quote:I told God that I was going to put my faith in him to heal me and I never went back to the doctor after that promise. That was 23 years ago and I am still here and in good health. So you see my faith made me whole.
Your body just healed itself. There are many that die because of conditions like this so please don't imply as if he was looking out after you while ignoring others.

Quote:People can believe what they want; I know he has taken care of me. My heart can never be changed.
That's because your closed-minded.

Miraculous cancer/tumor regression stories from believers aren't very credible to me. It's long been a tactic by evangelicals to dupe the gullible, healing or curing people of diseases or conditions that they never had. Circulating claims to the same effect.

Whenever someone says "faith cured my [insert medical calamity here]" I lean towards BS on the entire narrative.

Trolololol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
