He can't get his head around this simple concept. I understand perfectly what you mean, you believe that one can not make a choice without new information to aid you in making a different decision. I how ever disagree, you asked me to change my favorite color, I do not have a favorite so no amount of info could cause me to select a color. You asked me to choose a different hobby, I told you I had several times not because I had new info, the reason was I was able to afford to. You asked me to change my belief in a god. I told you I chose to continue believing in the God of the Bible. The reasons for this are the God I believe in is the only God, I know there is no other, also to choose a false god would be to betray the true God and I know that I love God and the reasons I do and no other god can take His place. You wanted me to change my beliefs, however I know what I want regardless of any knew info, I'm not uninformed as you might think and I know what I want no matter how much you want me to change my mind.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Regarding your beliefs you say that you "know what you want". So, what do you want? I wasn't aware that christianity was a wishlist. Although if it is, it would go some way towards explaining why some follow it, if they think they'll get what they want. Of course, what you want will be a bunch of stuff that you didn't know you wanted until you became indoctrinated.

Again I'm making a choice not to choose green or pink because you ask me to, actually I have no favorite color. Why would I want to choose something that's not true such as my height or the moon, both ideas are ridiculous, I choose truth over stupidity. There is no evidence to expose you to, unless you would like to run around with me for a couple of years and see the things I do, even then you would not have any hard scientific evidence you seem to require. You would see God at work and you would not be able to use science to disprove it, I know I've been walking this path for a long time and seen God at work far more than you would believe, as a matter of fact if you had you might be a believer now. I say might because you want absolute facts, that's a choice you make without any new evidence. That's fine but it's all a bit vague for me. If you want to live the life that god desires for you to live, then he is telling you what to want. Shouldn't that be your choice?
I do not want anything other than to be happy. Lots of things make me happy - helping others, drinking beer, eating cakes, going out, achieving life goals, buying new stuff, bringing my family up to be decent people, watching sport etc I couldn't fit reading scripture, attending church, preaching to that because not only I wouldn't want to, but because I wouldn't have the time and would miss out on other fulfilling stuff. You must miss out on some good stuff, because you're banking on getting it back with interest in heaven. I wonder what a typical day in heaven is like? A bit of worship, bit of backslapping and a lounge around. No sin, no bad stuff, no challenges. Don't get me wrong, sounds great apart from the worship bit, but for ever? Wouldn't you be sick after a trillion years?

You never heard of Allah? Thor? Zeus? Athena? Of course there are other gods to believe in....and who are you to say they are false gods when many other people believe in them with the same enthusiasm as you believe in yours? So, if new information is of no use to you in this matter, what possible reason is there for you to be here other than trolling or proselytizing?
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.
