Because it's a PRATT argument. No matter how many times it's pointed out that it didn't happen, it just doesn't sink in. That's why. I don't care what anyone believes, but when they want to pretend it's true then what matters is what they can demonstrate. Too many people think it's okay to ignore that part, then it becomes my fault for not swallowing it. Sorry, but I don't play those silly games.

I really don't understand the notion of being angry about someone else believing in any particular miracle. No one is forcing you to believe in it too.
Because sooner or later someone tries to use these ridiculous miracle tales as proof of their stories.

Well that's not what I was doing. Someone asked me what miracles I believed in, so I answered.

I'm not trying to play any game, and no one said you have to swallow anything. You don't have to believe in it if you don't want.
I personally cannot relate to feeling angry about someone believing something i don't, so I guess there's not much else to say here.

Yeah - that shows what your god's "miracles" are worth. It's made up nonsense. Frauds make up miracles, to take advantage of gullible morons, then a hundred years later, when it's impossible to verify anything about it, dumb people, with no knowledge, or understanding of history can glorify and embellish those bullsh*t stories and pretend they have evidence for god. And then the nonbelievers have to try and disprove something that was NEVER proven, or reliably reported in the first place. If you repeat a lie enough times - many dumb people will swear it to be the truth. That's how religions operate and it's frustrating to intellectually honest and inquisitive people.

A miracle is almost always an argument from ignorance or an equivocation fallacy.
I don't know why God having to issue a Windows-style emergency patch to fix an unforeseen problem in his plan is something to celebrate.

I have seen a miracle for myself so it wouldn't make much sense for me to automatically assume everyone who claims a miracle is a liar.
