Just thought I'd add that one. If you are a woman in the UK, you get access to a load of companies that *only* provide car insurance to women. I've always found the practice disgustingly sexist. The premiums offered are usually much cheaper than those offered to men as well, all because of some statistic (that is often quoted but never sourced or proved) that male drivers are more dangerous.
That wouldn't fly in the USA.

Just like the attractive girl that works next to me gets by every day on her feministic attitude rather than her D boobs and stupid giggle?
I have a few issues with the list you posted, but I can't deny I've known a woman here or there to embody one or many of those factors.
This is why 90% of my friends are guys.
I have a few issues with it as well, and it has just as many fallacious arguments and hasty generalizations, but I just wanted to illustrate that it's a two-way street. I'm not anti-woman in any way, I just found it kind of funny how true some of that can be.

So let's get this straight. You go along with Eilonnwy's argument, when she posts a few of these stupid checklists made by people with an agenda, supporting them fully and blaming others for her problems. I post one in jest, say I don't necessarily agree with its premises, and I'm attacking and adversarial?
Eat a dick.

You, me [eye to eye motion]. I think we've been arguing the same point the entire time.

Well obviously they're going to try to race you when your Wrangler looks like this:

hahahahahaha I WISH! Mine was an all black (even the wheels) '95 4 banger with body damage and a bad attitude. But she was a pirate, and I named her Bonny, and the license plate translated to "Dirty Deeds". I miss her like hell every single day.
This douche was in a Honda with a weedwhacker exhaust, acting like my baby was actually meant to be raced. In the first two gears I could pull out reasonably quick, which was all I needed to encourage him enough to take off like a shot and get caught by the cop hidden around the corner. Fucktard.
Then I went and played illegally in the mud. It's absolutely true when you see the bumper sticker "Jeep girls like it topless and dirty."

I'm astounded at the lengths you're prepared to go to to hide your head in the sand I think it's sexist. Why should all men be punished for the actions of a fraction of us? It's not just the higher rates for men, it's the fact that some companies in this country *refuse* to give insurance to men as one of their actual company policies. They are actively promoting sexism and being proud about it (if you watch some of their adverts).

@ Skipper
Precisely the kind of advert I was thinking of. They have a few of them going around, each one coming across to me as remarkably sexist.
I should also mention to fr0d0 that in addition to my point earlier, it is irrelevant if the statistics say men are worse drivers; the fact that women can get better car insurance deals is still a privilege.
