Ok their is a song by Coven known as Burn the cross it is about Satan killing Jesus and God and taking over the Earth and Heaven.

Why do I bring this up well, it got me thinking what if Christianity was right, but what if revelations was wrong and Satan won? We're not going to debate how Satan can defeat God. I just want to discuss what would be the fate of Earth, Heaven and Hell if Satan won.

I personally think Satan would be a better ruler than God. From what we can see of Satan in the Bible he does not seem that evil. Also unlike God, Satan is not Omnipotent so we wouldn't have to worry about pissing him off and him deciding to destroy us all. That's my theory but tell me what you think.

We'd probably have a self serving, bloodthirsty psychopath or a deity who demands worship and tortures people who don't obey. There would be war and starvation, and those who reach the top of society will tend to become corrupt and self absorbed. Oh wait, we already have all that.

I'm honestly not sure what would be worse. Yahweh already kills and tortures people who make the smallest mistakes. His followers aren't necessarily any better off than anyone else, except when they die they get to worship someone forever instead of being roasted forever.

But think about it while I don't think Satan is evil while he is the most powerful being in the universe with God out of the picture. He is not Omnipotent he could still be overthrown and replaced with somebody like Gabriel or Micheal I believe in Revelations it says Gabriel will fight Satan in a one on one duel so he may be just a bit more powerful than a Archangel.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Without any checks and balances, it doesn't matter who is in charge. It will turn out badly for the general populous.

Fair point that does make a lot of sense. I'm starting to think now that Heaven and Hell would be split into factions claiming to be the true heir of God. Because when you think about it Jehovah was really the only thing uniting the demons to Satan"s cause to overthrow God and angels probably served God out of fear of his wrath. With him out of the picture Heaven and Hell would become a warzone with different factions vying for power. If this scenario happened I wonder how it would affect Earth

If you read the first post of this thread I said that hypothetically what if Satan defeated God. I know if Christianity was true Satan couldn't defeat God. But that's why we speculate if God somehow disappeared at judgment day and Satan won how would this affect Heaven, Hell and Earth.
