I prefer a misspelled full sentence to an entire sentence abbreviated into five letters. I've said it before: despite exponential advances in our technology, we are ironically retrogressing in our literacy. Emojis are really nothing more than modern hieroglyphics, when you think about it:
While I hate text speak, I adore emojis. They can be very useful in emphasizing tone in a conversation where it obviously cannot be heard.
and they remind you of your large yellow ben wa balls . . .

Mine are black and pink
Are they in now ?

I mean TRENDY, goddamit !!!

Yes, with the advent of the internet and humanity becoming reliant on emails and texts for the majority of our communications, we have to somehow compensate for the 40% or more of our non-verbal communication, like facial expressions and hand-gestures, being lost. We SHOULD be relying more upon vocabulary and the expression of the written word, as in the old days of letter-writing, but with technology rapidly advancing, as literacy simultaneously recedes, emojis are relied-upon more than they really should be. For the most part, I'd say no. I've heard theists swear as much as atheists. I've hung out with theists my whole life, I doubt there is any difference. There's definitely some theists that practice what they preach towards their kids, and barely swear at all. Overall, I'd say that theists pretend that it bothers them more so, but some legitimately don't want to hear them.
And, if the word 'fuck' bothers you, then you shouldn't be fucking on here. What's with the censoring of words too? f*cking.. why write that? I never understood that ever.
Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.' -Isaac Asimov-
