Atheism the unscientific belief (part one, two, and three)
RE: Atheism. The UNscientific belief (part two)
(September 30, 2015 at 5:01 pm)Simon Moon Wrote: [...]Why is it every time, without fail, we see evidence of consciousness, it is associated with a physical brain.

And, as of yet, no one has ever been able to provide demonstrable evidence of  consciousness that exists without a physical brain.

Even though wishful thinking morons, like Little cRiket have been trying to do that for tens of thousands of years.

It only took science less than 100 years, between theory of evolution and discovery of genetics, confirming it. Yet magic people are still as deep in the woods, as they ever were.

Has already been established that there is NO evidence that we got the consciousness that we got thanks to previous generation.
Has already been established that there is No evidence that God does not exist so everything is possible.
In the physical arena the small is attracted to the big so is quite possible that our small consciousness is attracted by a bigger and infinite consciousness.
All it is possible.
The problem however is how to find out where is the truth and how the system works.
Science is all about finding out the truth.
Nobody invent anything.
People only discover something.
What we discover today is most probably already been discovered in far away more evolved planets in far away solar systems and what we will discover tomorrow is something likely already been discovered in other places so the knowledge is everywhere and the best way to discover more knowledge is to keep our awareness open to all possibilities.
Few atheists are open to possibilities while most of them are not.
Physically speaking our body works very well if our arteries are not clogged up with impurities so the blood flow freely.
Mentally speaking is the same.
Dogmas or false truth prevent the free flow of what is true.
Our awareness must be open to all possibilities.
This is the only way to reach the truth but considering that atheism in general is build on dogmas like
believing that with the physical death is all over and other believes based on no evidence than is clear that the flow of truth will never reach their inner self.
As the heart bring life to all the body also the cosmic awareness bring the truth to the inner self.
There is no need to try to invent anything.
All is already there.
All is needed is to allow the flow to run freely that is why a belief like atheism that prevent this flow of truth is unscientific.  Worship

You're right. Lets assume theres an afterlife. That is after all the only scientific option left by your extremely convincing and 100 percent fact checked... poem?

Do you ever catch yourself wondering what someone like you is doing actually existing as opposed to being a fictional character in a precautionary tale about the dangers of being so far up your own arse you can taste your next speech?

Yes. It very much matters which sect is perpetuating the crazy this time! Tongue
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Well, well, just what i expected.  Smile
After i pointed out your falsity you change story by reversing the burden of prove on me.
You are those who made a claim not me.
You are the ones who said that the consciousness is a product of the brain.
Now that you can not come up with solid evidence to back up your claim you change story and say that all the evidence actually does point to consciousness being a product of a physical brain but where the hell is this evidence?  I'm all ears!

Wonder wonder how the plants that have no brain can have so much feelings.
Where these feelings originate from if they haven't got a brain?  Rolleyes
I am sure you guys will come up with more crap by saying that these feelings are none by chemical reactions or other bullshit.  Smile

Well thank fuck for your yoga philosophy. I mean without it how else would we determine the inner workings of the universe via sub-standard poetry?
I don't know about you guys but I'm ready to march over to CERN and tell them to stop wasting their time.

They are not wasting their time at all.
In fact slowly slowly they are getting there but this there will be the border between the physical universe and what is behind this universe.
Once they get at the border they for sure will want to cross this border and merge in the real thing.
But at this stage you wouldn't have a clue what this is.
But don't despair Drake.
Give time and everything will be sorted out.  Smile   Hi  Smile

If you get to tell us what beliefs we have as atheists (this seems to be all you do actually), then we can do the same for theists. You're a Hindu.
Feel free to send me a private message.

Hindus believe in the caste system.
Hindus often kill those who kill cows.
Hindus believe in dozen of Gods.
Most Hindus priests use drugs to get high.

Little Rik must be a bad Hindu because he doesn't do all these things.  Smile
