KOIN local news says 10 confirmed dead, 20 wounded, but they are reporting between 13 and 15 people dead. Lots of confusion still; it's not clear right now (it's not being reported to the public) whether the shooter is alive or dead, but it is confirmed that it's no longer an active shooting and that the shooter has been detained or stopped in some way.

I don't know about blaming atheists, but the internet is already lighting up with the same-old same-old about how this is somehow the fault of liberals and how soon enough the government will be coming for everyone's guns -- like that's even a thing. Fucking jackals. Another senseless tragedy happens within the past hour, and people can't wait one damn day to exploit it for their partisan talking points.

Not sure this is when and where I want to discuss gun control, but the problem is we have guns all over.  And every ban that fails causes more people to buy guns.  And even if we manage to ban them, there are so many out there already. . .

And with 3D printers it may soon be every country's problem.
