Your post is precisely related to what the thread is about so there's no issue of derailment.
I'm seeing a woman with a son who has learning difficulties but I'm not necessarily offended by the use of the word it depends on the context and attitude of how it's being used.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

There are often topics discussed here that affect me personally, but I know better than to disclose such information. Most of the time, anyway.

I don't believe people generally care why others feel the way they do. So I don't see much point in bringing it up, if it doesn't move the conversation along considerably.

But people don't always care about things relative to how much it affects them so this would be a slightly different topic than why people care.
I thought it would be interesting just to see out of everything people type about on here what is it that directly affects them
