Far less than that. It means that if people stopped dying, and continued to breed at current rates (or, lets softball it, 3rd or better generation first worlders rates) we would simply run out of stuff. I know, there's "stuff" out in space....but getting it here is non-trivial, and were pretty far away from that. Granted, the notion of global mobilization into space is more palatable than global sterilization.

The medicine is for Steve. With that medicine you stop whatever deadly problem he's having, either than the lack of food.
I said he's dead either way because the helicopter will only arive after we'd have starved(and this is based on what we had last eaten, before we got in this situation - I should've added, sorry).

LOL, cut to the chase...are you wondering whether I would eat you, or Steve? Probably not, particularly in your scenario. But hey, starvation doesn;t exactly foster level headed thinking...so I;d probably make sure I was the one with the knife just in case.
