Yes sport, I would say the vast majority were treated badly, But not everyone who had slaves treated them badly. Washington had a policy where not only where the slave tipped/received bonuses he also promoted slaves to spend free time to better themselves and their living arrangements.

Understand I never said slave were not treated badly ever. I said NOT ALL Slaves Must be treated badly. Nike shoes is a good modern example of this. Ive left posts that explain this in greater detail already.

But OTOH, the more common understanding of Genesis is that the author is trying to convey a message about the creation of all things as best he can. So, why are you so intent upon holding such a simple-minded interpretation of the flood when Christians themselves do not?

However, I do understand why asserting this over and over makes life simpler for you...kinda like simply saying that Jesus never even existed is the easiest way to avoid actual thought.
