Just askin'.

I mourn the loss of life, but a theistic life being lost is, to me, akin to a squashing a bug.

So . . . how does that make you different from ISIS?
An ISIS follower rapes and murders those who don't believe as they do, without regret.  They believe they are RIGHT, and you are wrong, and you are harmful to society.
You describe a theistic life lost as "akin to squashing a bug" because you believe that you're RIGHT, and they are wrong, and harmful to society.

I happen to agree with your atheistic outlook, and I think that religion is generally harmful to society.  However, the certainty that a large group of humans are - sub-human and need to be eradicated is the basis for most of humankind's atrocities.

Well that's just horrifying.

I see you are a student of Stalin. He was anti-theist. I am anti-theist. This does not mean I agree with him, being such a violent dick as he was with the basic human rights of other people, and the blowback from his actions has fueled the power which has made the Russian Orthodox Church the political power which it is today. Apparently, you are dumb enough and arrogant enough to believe you could build a more lasting secular society through actions right out of his playbook? I hope you never get the chance to try!

Stupidity and arrogance in place of wisdom and empathy never get anything good done, and they invariably make problems worse.

You deserve in kind the respect which you give for the basic human rights of others.

If not for this one's generally weird and disturbing posting patterns, my first interpretation of that line would have been that Christians are dying of old age, which is true in some countries, which I'm fine with. They're on the decline, but unfortunately their offspring who follow in their footsteps are 3x as obnoxious. They aren't Hitler yet, but come this time next year when Cruz takes the White House...

Christianity dying of old age. It's not a bad vision, sadly though it's impossible or at very least improbable. As for young people we can hope that education will have some results. Reduction of poverty also would help with secularization but it's easier said than done.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Why chain one's self to mask after mask, only to be less of an individual?

Just because we feel disgust with one of the views you've copped to doesn't mean that we ourselves are holding back similar views out of concern for reputation.  Your desire to harm or wish harm upon others you've never met is despicable; your desire to be authentic is not.  But an authentic cunt is no less a cunt for taking it public.

All religions follow a standard death curve.  Eventually the christian god will go the same way as Zeus,  Thor or Ra.

Then some guy will rip off all the religions before him and create a new one for the sheep to bleat at.

I actually enjoy religion though.  I find them the tenants of them very amusing.  Mormonism being among my personal faves....its just hilarious.

I love the magic underwear.

How exactly do you think that precludes you from being an antitheist? It doesn't. It doesn't matter in which circumstances you're opposed to it, merely that you are. That is all that is needed for you to fit the description.

When I read/hear anti-theist part of my brain hears angry militant atheist . I'm not going to be that person. Waist of mental energy.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

RE: My anti-theistic perspective
It seems like a lot of recent threads here on AF have needed this:

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
