I'm sorry!
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.
-- Superintendent Chalmers

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

RE: Microsoft is a pain in the ass
It's 1am. I'm going to bed as school kicked my butt. I have quite a lengthy list of event issues that I copied and pasted into a document. I'll throw them all up here after I get some sleep, take the other half to work and come back home. Right now, my hip hurts and I need to get three hours of sleep.

I appreciate everyone who's trying to help me with this problem. I cannot thank you all enough. All my notes from school are on here and I can't find my flash drive so that I can transfer them to save them. If I can't fix this blasted thing, I'm fucked.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like your machine is infected. I'd find that drive and save your school files while you can. Then do a clean install. (And skip 'maintenance utilities' that defrag, clean registry, etc - most of those are just scams.)

I agree - I haven't done a defrag or any of that other bullshit in many years. It simply isn't necessary on NTFS with a decent amount of memory. FAT, yes, but who uaes that on primary storage these days?

If you've got a Big Lots in the area, they usually have 8-16Gig flash drives for cheap. Name brands too, not the cheap knock-offs.

Yes. I've ran all those things. I also use Nod Eset as my virus protection software.
