I'm sure the irony of your own statement escapes you, drippy.  You are far too stupid to ever grasp such a complex idea.

If everyone except yourself is somehow mistaken, perhaps you should let everyone persist in those misconceptions that are less harmful to your faith than your own convictions clearly are?  Think of it this way, if it were fairly simple for most of us to pass on an incompetent gods offer, how would arguing for a douche god change that scenario?  Is the understanding of god that you're offering truly the understanding of god you wish for others to have?  I doubt it.  I doubt it because you seem to have an understanding of god that is not supported by your own comments, your "arguments" backfire on you constantly, leaving the audience with an impression that you clearly disagree with and waste further effort arguing against.

There's no sense in painting god as an unfathomable prick if that's not what you want others to believe about god.  It doesn't help, and it's no correction in the first place.  Understand?

Do you have an example of one of these many 'back fires?"

You're in one right now..and could pick any of your threads..at random, and find yet another example.  Let me summarize all of your "corrections" -

"Hey, silly atheists...gods not x, he's y..now what do you think?"
- I think even less of god than I thought before
"Well you're wrong about that"
-.....but my new opinion is based upon the conversational assumption that what you just said was true.....

This, Drich, is why you fail. As it stands, you're a much more efficient cause of deconversion and further alienation than of missionary acquisition or mutual understanding. I've told you this before....as have others on these board, and yet you persist in a manner that has shown precisely the opposite results as you clearly intend.

It's the definition of fucking insanity man, and I have to wonder if you'd keep hammering away at it like this if it were anything else in your life, other than your faith, or whether you'd assess the results and change course to achieve an aim.

From what I've seen so far, it appears that a lot of this forum's members are former Christians, and although they no longer believe in God, any one of them ought to be able to give you the answer to this question:

Romans 3:28-30
28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

But where's the gate for the Gentiles to get into the golden bejeweled Jewish cubed city called New Jerusalem?

I would like more replies to my last post here.

Also the next question:

Trinity - someone explain this to me in the best possible matter they can. I would appreciate just to understand the perspective of others.

A non-biblical relationship between 3 entities which are also 1 entity.

Entirely nonsense.

RE: Understanding the Bible/Christianity
To be honest, I use to go Christianforums.com but recently the section I posted has been heavily dominated by Mormons. And it's really annoying.

Anyone know a better Christian site to go to?

The Trinity explained:

God is a mystery, you just have to have faith! Jesus is God, the Father is God, and the holy ghost is God. Jesus isn't the father or the holy ghost, and the Holy Ghost isn't the Father or the son. And the father is neither the son or the holy ghost.
The whole tone of Church teaching in regard to woman is, to the last degree, contemptuous and degrading. - Elizabeth Cady Stanton
