What can I say?
Driving makes me nervous!

Seriously, I do have a bad habit of driving with one hand most of the time. Not because I've got the other one playing with the panty hamster, though.

Sure. Tell me again how you're not double clicking the mouse. Squeak, Squeak!

Left hand at 9 o'clock, right hand on the shifter -- I drive a manual.

Being an old fart (58), we were taught hands at 10 and 2. I still do that when using both hands. With one hand it's at 12.

With the advent of air bags I understand that is no longer safe. I've heard recommendations of 9 and 3 or 8 and 4.

Where do you grab the wheel at? Or just where do you grab?

8:30 and 3:30.

One handed driving is dangerous, don't do it.

I'll take it for what it is and also consider that a good euphemism.

I had to force myself to avoid using "stick-shift".

I never learned to handle a stick properly.

I was taught to put both hands on the wheel.... but half the time, the right hand is holding the stick...
The other half, is mostly turning...
That or highway.... for the highway, they invented cruise control.... One hand at 7 or 8 and the other on the lady's leg.... naturally!
