The best part about it is that it ultimately always boils down to anecdotal evidence from people on the paranoid spectrum. Our government cannot hack an iPhone by themselves but they can keep antigravity and UFOs secret from everyone except some crazy white people in Iowa and New Mexico.

It's already been decided that humans can't accept beings that are technologically advanced, or even spiritually advanced. It's been decided that this information of otherworldly beings will be exposed at the correct time in human evolution as desired by those that wish to expose it. The world's religions are not ready to accept it, nor are the atheists. This will be something that will presented at the proper time, and likely to benefit those in power, even if they fake something.

Aliens. UFO's.  Smart enough to either have conquered the light-speed barrier or figured out how to traverse through wormholes, or something even more exotic and unknown. But they orbit our little planet for the purpose of snatching individuals who were out by themselves, submit them to various unpleasant probes, erase all physical and mental signs of tampering (just unsuccessfully enough to leave trace memories), and go on their merry way. Gee. Sure would be nice if these super-smart beings would do something helpful for a change - save some crops, divert flood waters, or something. But then they would be SEEN and a video would show up that really WASN'T faked, and oh noes!!!!!  The Christards would be trying to kill them because they don't believe in Jeebus, New Age spiritualists would follow them everywhere, Muslims would go after them because they don't believe in Allah, and the Atheists would beg them to give Ted talks and explain all sorts of stuff . . .

So here's the thing with aliens. They are thousands of years more advanced and have evolved with other senses. Like communicating telepathically, seeing in the dark. They are advanced, and worried about humans putting weapons in space, and becoming a threat to ourselves, so they have shot down experimental missile fires, and shut down nuclear weapons. Yet, they understand we are very primitive compared to us, so they don't interfere on a level that is known to the public, but supposedly they have agreements with leadership.

Ever check out project camelot? They have some good interviews. Clifford Stone who is in the press coference is worth listenting to at least. In fact all in the disclosure project are worth listening to. The people of the world really have no idea what's going on.

Yes, based on our current understanding, there are almost certainly intelligent alien civilizations out there somewhere. Some are primitive, others are far more advanced than us and others are probably god-like. Most everyone here gets that. What has that to do with the ridiculous assertion that a shadow government exists which is in collaboration with aliens currently or recently visiting this planet? Where is the tiniest bit of evidence in support of that far-fetched claim?

I'll also ask again: Why would someone in possession of advanced alien technology suppress it to maintain a relatively penny ante advantage when they could use it instead to literally own and rule the world?

I've already provided links to listen to the people that work in the shadow government. Most military people I know that will talk, understand the military has various ways of keeping the secrets secret. It all comes down to compartmentalization on how to keep people that are hired in the military from knowing the full story, and it never reaches the public unless people talk about it which I've posted, but don't expect this to appear in the newspaper for the masses. They do use the technology, and currently at the highest levels control the planet. The problem is backwards engineering the technology, and applying it with limited earth materials, and understanding to apply parts to implement into the technology we can build. It was decided that the people of the planet shouldn't get to enjoy it, because it would free people, so instead it's used to keep us in control, and mainly used in the underground bases. They have technology that is years beyond what the public thinks is even possible at this time. Problem is that it's kept hidden for them, and not for us.

There is literally no advantage of having such advance technology even if it were god like without sharing it. 
More or less eventually someone else is going to figure out how it works and how to build one.

And logic dictates that if such a shadow government exists - one capable of keeping such secrets and with such an illegal agenda, whistle blowers would quickly disappear. Anyone privy to secrets would know that.

Perhaps you think they know that we know that so they allow whistle blowers to live because they know they won't be believed. But that would encourage more whistle blowers. Eventually, the whole thing would fall apart.

Then there is what should be the most obvious thing of all. There are real-life parallels of Fox Mulder from The X-Files - principled people who are professional investigators. People in a position to act on information from whistle blowers inside a shadow government if such existed. Do you honestly think you know something they don't? You think foreign intelligence services who would like nothing more than to get a leg up on the US - so they could increase their own power position - wouldn't know something that you do? That they wouldn't act on it?

It amazes me that people like you don't consider such obvious flaws in your "theories."
