Probably because Muslims and Jews aren't pushing their faiths on us.

A little thinking goes a long way, Scrappy.

Spit Coffee Bwahahahaha!!! ROFLOL

There are 3 methods of conversion in islam.
1 sit down and have a discussion.
2 Move into a region and out breed the indigenous population bring Islam/Sharia Law with them.
3 Wage Jihad and remove/slaughter the infidels.

In the west number 1 just is going to happen in an effective way anymore.

As far as #2 goes even the slowest/Most backward liberals can see what Islamic 'immigration/refugees' bring in the examples left in France and now Belgium.

Option 3 is why we have so many 3rd generation islamic males wanting to take up arms with the US.
They tried option 1 and failed. They could not 'breed us out' because 3rd gen islamic women who are not "westernized" (want basic human rights) are in short supply, and they find it next to impossible to talk a modern western woman into 3rd world mid eastern life.

Know or not sport but "option 3/jihad" IS The Practice Of Pushing Islam On The Rest Of The World!

Remember 9/11, Hebdo, the Boston Marathon bombing, The Christmas party slaughter, The Paris attacks and Belgium attacks, the next time you have to turn your sprinklers on to keep the Christians from knocking on your door!

I'd much rather say no thank you/not interested when approached by a christian meaning well, than being blown up at an airport by an islam-a-bomber trying to push his message of the 'god of piece(s)'

Of course you don't realize that most of the terrorists were French and Belgian citizens and none of them entered and registered as a refugee.

Course you don't. How could I expect an informed opinion coming from you? It's even more ironic, since swapping the gods would place your religious believes smack in the middle of their backwards ideology. Their god is a raving beast and so is yours. Going by all the revelations you took from your very own magic book.

Thank you very much, but I certainly don't take my insights on radicals from an opposing radical.

None of this drivel remotely addresses my point. I appreciate the reminder of your irrelevancy, but really, it's unnecessary, thanks.

How about you venture beyond the county line and fuck off to Pakistan where you can live among adherents of the religion of peace.

I lived in Iran for four years and Saudi Arabia for most of one. Pretty sure I've got the background to make informed comments on the matter. And I found the people there to be great, in both countries. SA's governance, of course, is shitty, but under the shah's regime in Iran, the law was secular and the people held many of our values.

How about you? What experiences in Muslim countries informs your opinion?

That's nice that you have that to wave around at people, I bet you're just beside yourself. I've never been to one and don't plan on going any time soon. While I'm sure there are plenty of nice, nonpsychopathic people there, the beliefs of individuals don't often show bad consequences until seen at the group level. You could go visit the Westboro Baptist Church like Louie Thoreaux and live with them for a couple of weeks and realize that they're actually a pretty friendly bunch. They just have some batshit insane ideas about reality. Luckily, they are tiny. If they weren't, they'd still be the same people, but the governance, of course, would be shitty. And by the way, how'd that whole thing with the Shah in Iran go again? Radical Islam ushered in under massive popular support, if I recall? We tried, though, huh?

So you're talking out of your ass. Thanks for clarifying although I already assumed as much. You know what kind of impression you give?

All rightwingers do with their ignorant rage fits. Would be quite funny if they weren't that disgusting.

Well, you insinuated that I was speaking out of a lack of experience. Why you're now dismissing my experience, especially when you have none to speak of yourself, escapes me, but it sure says a hell of a lot about you. So -- I wasn't "waving it around", but rather, rebutting an assumption on your part that was incorrect in my case. Funny how you're deprecating experience now that you see that some of us here have a little.

As for the fall of the Shah, I lived through that revolution, and while it was co-opted by the clerics in Janiary of 1979, it was driven by the people themselves and motivated by his cruelty, not his secularism. It started making headway in early 1978, but only after it was successful did the mullahs overthrow the Bakhtiar government.

I trust that next time you'll think before you post. That is, after all, the recommended order of operations.

You don't have to have been somewhere to talk about it. That's like the equivalent of saying "I'm right because I'm older than you."

I gladly retract what I said about you going to Pakistan. It is possible after all that you could go there and it would make no difference to your worldview. It was more just a sloppy response to your 'county line' comment, which was trash itself.

As for the 1979 revolution, whatever it was motivated by, the result speaks loud and clear.

Quite correct. But a little more information, other than tabloids or rightwing netshit, couldn't hurt if your goal is to be perceived as more than a raving gnome. Until now you only regurgitated pretty much every prejudiced feces coming from there. And, to top it off, waved away the opinions of people actually having come in closer contact with the cultures and the people living there.

Given that you obviously have no understanding what my worldview is, or how amenable I am to changing my mind, I really don't care what you retract and what you adhere to.

The closest parallel is the transition to communism in Imperial Russia. The idea that the final outcome represents the will of the people doesn't really jibe in either case.

You're the only one here who hasn't said anything. As for me, I guess if what I said is rightwing netshit, whatever that is, I'll defend it nonetheless. You didn't understand what I was saying in the first place.

Yes, I'm sure it was all just an accident. Who knows what they could become if a butterfly somewhere on the other side of the world had flapped its wings differently, maybe Pastafarians! Maybe they would have voted in a Heaven's Gate cult government with massive popular support. Who can make any connections?!
