I'm glad you know it's all normal Lostykins Smile

RE: Thought crime
It just shows you are a good person, that you're concerned about whether you really are "being mean" to others. You're reflecting on your behaviour, even when it's behaviour you can't control.

RE: Thought crime
I'd be right there with you judging them Losty. It's normal, everyone judges. The difference is only some people admit it.

And as long as you don't act on it, what's the harm?

I know you won't. That's why I don't think shit like that. It's about mutual respect.

Really because you don't know me and you made up some preconceived notions about me just the other day in the feminism thread...

It makes me sad if you are stuck because Pool is running his mouth off about a subject he knows nothing about, Lostykins. All the evidence points to him being completely wrong. Don't be stuck because of his idiotic baseless opinion: It IS normal.

Quote:Would I have me be cruel in order to avoid hypocrisy? I don't think I can do that either. Being mean to someone is definitely not staying true to who I am. It would hurt them and that would hurt me.

So I don't know...

Don't listen to him he's full of shit as per usual. Did you read that first article yet?

I had 17 sessions of therapy with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist for this sort of thing: I was told time and time again and showed evidence time and time again that all the thoughts were completely normal and that people without OCD experience these thoughts as much as people with OCD, the only difference is people with OCD let it bother them.

All the evidence is against Pool, please don't listen to him Lostykins. As per usual he has no idea what he is talking about.

It's not because of pool at all.

It's just because knowing, factually, that you are right doesn't always turn off that part of my brain that tells me I'm a horrible person for thinking mean things.

RE: Thought crime
Pool is making out like he has decided not to have these kinds of thoughts. There's no way on Earth I believe that.

He may naturally not have them, sure. That's no achievement though. If you do have them, you can't turn them off.

It'll only benefit the individual in question. That's all I'm saying, I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad or anything - just put in effort to stop doing it.

LMAO, this is hilarious coming from the guy who is slut-shaming an entire continent of women over in another thread!

Oh, it just keeps getting better. Do you change personalities from thread to thread on purpose, just for the sake of causing drama? I'd really like to know.
