I can see why you would want to move past this, but 'we' (everyone but you) has not moved on yet.
That's a footnote in the OP, not the main idea lol. I don't think anyone is saying that showing compassion to dying children is crazy... except maybe Yahweh would think that is crazy.
Actually that would be known as a secondary or supporting example.
The OP made the assertion the Jim was crazy because of his action of the set of the Passion. He further backed up his assessment by using this second example of jim's 'crazy super religious taking over common sense behaivor.'
When making an argument that attacks a person character one must have several different examples to paint the one being attacked in a negative light. All examples must show in this case a pattern of crazy behavior.
The supporting example may not have been as strong as the primary but the act of caring for terminally ill kids was used to paint Jim and his wife as being crazy.
To which I point out how 'evil' hates and wants to discredit or destroy anything truly good.

Working on the film seemed to make him a bit batty, and cause a definite uptick in his intensity. Maybe the lightning it.
I'd guess he's pretty far from actual crazy, though. And, I definitely wouldn't consider adopting sick infants/children a character flaw.
At any rate, I hope ole' nutty Jim isn't the fraud that his buddy and brother in Christ, Mel Gibson is. Mel dropped his wife, and mother of his eight children to go go nail some hot Russian broad. Not as bad as some schmuck leaving his family in abject poverty, of course, but highly unbecoming nonetheless.
I don't think mel is a fraud for falling into sin...
I think this behavior contradicts what people think Christianity is all about, but in truth the opposite is true.
Mel knowing he is far from perfect seeking redemption is what makes him christian, not his ablity to live a perfect life.
Mel is no different than any other person who is a slave to sexual sin, and seeks redemption for it. It does not make him any more or less 'christian' in the sight of the Lord.

Mel's problems stem from accepting the Catholic heresies.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Oh, and we do not put in wall mounted "polls" at the back inside of the truck as it would hinder fork lift loading.

No, it doesn't make him less of a Christian, but it does make him a raging hypocrite by any other standard; That's where the fraud comes in. Mel's the one who made the choice to yammer on about devotion and commitment.

It's like they want to adopt someone so they can say they did this really truly great thing, and if they adopt one of the more than 100,000 kids in the US who need a home, that it's just not good enough.
Out of curiosity, how many adopted special needs kids do you have?

True story, my 7th grade english teacher married Jim Caviezel. It was long before passion of the Christ. I met him, he came to my church. I wonder if they have kinky Jesus sex.

Sure - if by "person", you mean "racist religious nut-job". F*ck him and f*ck any religion that would have him...
Come to think of it - f*ck all the others too.

Christian's don't rail against stem cell research moron.. The rail against embryonic stem cell research. The difference? Adult stem cells can be harvested and used without killing the donor, while harvesting stemcells from a baby kills the child.
Educate yourself fool, Before you speak...
Now because of this bann we now have made huge leaps and bounds in stem cell research without the use of the embryonic stem cells.

So the guy that thinks scientists are killing babies to research on their corpses is telling me "to get educated". Well what do you expect from Christians? It's not just that they're stupid, but they're so arrogant about it. They take it as their right to be stupid, because they're "stupid for god".
And let's face it Christians "love" orphans. They love them so much they want more of them and don't want people like gay couples to adopt them, because they're afraid it could dwindle their population. And they also love orphans because they can take money in their name and buy gold and palaces.
This is part of christian doctrine to be against progress because every misery is god's will and you should embrace your misery because Jesus suffered for 5 minutes in that stupid myth and this world is so short anyway, there is other one after you die so why bother, unless it's you in question. That's why Christianity held progress for so long, like when they had more power in medieval times and later, like when there was cure coming for some disease they were always against it. Take syphilis, for instance, doctors had to invent a lie that people can get it by sitting on a toilet because Christians saw syphilis a punishment from god for adulterers, as well as pain so they opposed anesthetics, because they saw pain as cross from god.
That's why Jim Caviezel would rather adopt kid from Africa that has AIDS then providing him with the cure, because AIDS is his cross.
And something also Jim said about his role in "Passion" he said Gibson told him "After that part you won't get another job in this town", to which Jim replied "That's my cross."
Now you can only imagine what they thought, it's like president of the Catholic League said of people seeing "Passion" anti-Semitic: " Hollywood is controlled by secular Jews who hate Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular" - so when they see a guy playing Jesus... I mean forget about getting roles in this town.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Tony Two-Pants can't walk in off the street and buy himself a murder truck, can he? well... We just shipped one to Colorado that I later found out that will/is be used in the distribution of marijuana... Thankfully it legal there..
Also did one for an unconventional morgue.. Supposely it is for pets... but we got this thing back ("juice" leaking into the cab) and it smell, like something much larger than a dog was put in there..

You did read the link did you? you know the one that says I'm right and youre wrong?!?! -or- Did you??? Now that I read the rest of your tripe I see a strong effort to try and red herring yourself off of topic and argue something you think you can win...
So the why all the pomp and posturing? Oh, that's right you want to try and deflect your own ignorance on the subject matter being discussed back onto me.. Here's the thing sport. I'm not going to let that happen and just run off chasing you topically where ever you want to go, without first holding your feet to the fire and exposing your complete and utter failure first.
So then now that we both understand and know that you did not make a distinction or seem to be unaware of the distinction between embryonic stem cell research and adult stem cell research, and you did not know that Christianity endorses adult stem cell research.

Nice.. make a blanket claim about Christians opposing 'stem cell research' get called on it, call us stupid and then pull 'orphans' out of your butt (topically speaking) ..I hope.

Book chapter and verse please.. No? can't find BCV??? maybe because like the stem cell thing your just making crap up based on hard or harsh 'feelings' you have against the church.

Yeah, "doctors" I'm sure the first man to give his wife syphilis told her the doctor confirmed his toilet story..
Quote:That's why Jim Caviezel would rather adopt kid from Africa that has AIDS then providing him with the cure, because AIDS is his cross.
because cure for aids are found at the local CVS next to the cure for cancer and the as seen on TV Snuggie. But like you said He is obviously holding back, because he'd rather see them die.
Or is this another stem cell research dig??? if it is shame on you for being dumber than you make yourself out to be!!!

-OR Mel knew most of Hollywood is anti God period. and if the Passion was 'good for God' then it would be bad for those who were involved.
