The date of it is incorrect, and leaves confusion. The name of the event is the 'September 11 2001 successful aerial terrorist attacks upon the Twin Towers (of the world trade center) and Pentagon, and the failed attack of unknown end destination'. More simply: 11/9/2001 terrorist attacks. 11/9/01. 11/9.
Never 9/11. That is November nine. Nothing remotely similar happened on November nine 2001.

Agreed: It isn't a denial of what day it happened on. But it becomes difficult for people of other cultures (and me) ti read and understand what is meant. You put down '9/11', and my mind hits 9th day 11th month. M/D/Y needs to be abolished as an archaic ideal concocted by some madman... which it is.

It does not have to be organized (though it cannot escape bias). It is a term for information presented that supports or denies a thing. Said information does not have to be true or to have gone through the rigors of scientific evidence.
My mother feeds me propaganda that vegetables are good for me and that's why I have to eat them. Propaganda doesn't need any sort of evidence backing, can be true or untrue, and can be presented by either individuals or groups.
Propaganda is *information*. Don't cloud it up as some sort of necessarily evil being designed solely to mislead for sake of some political or social ideal.
Then call it whatever you want, Sae. I don't really care at this point. I have other shit to worry about.
I was raised in America, and will most likely live out my life in America, and until someone gets up and says otherwise, it's 9/11. If I move somewhere else, I will conform to their date format.
We use the dates the other way (the right way )round but still refer to the attack as 9/11. So it dosen't really matter. We still get the reference and are all aware that Americans use a slightly different format.
