Osama may be dead.
RE: Osama may be dead.
Good point.

I'm still skeptical this is more of a campaign boost than anything else, plus I'd really love to see a photo of Osama with a bullet hole in his head, it would make a nice avatar.

Too early for a campaign boost. They call it the "October Surprise" for a reason.

If one person on the internet saying mass murderers deserve to die qualified as an "organized dissemination of information" then, sure, it's propaganda.

I think you'll find it doesn't qualify though...

So, pictures of 11/9 don't assist the US Government and their cause. Undecided Not only one, there are thousands of picture, websites, news articles & documentaries.

Oh sure they do, they're absolutely used as propaganda to justify all sorts of shit from wire-taps without warrants to killing civilians in the middle east - I thought you were calling my statement propaganda, which wasn't, it was a one-man opinion.

Good point. To be honest, the US government is usually a big fan of showing off their trophy kills. ie. the Uday Hussein and Qusay Hussein, Pablo Escobar, WWII German 'nazi' officers, the myriad of battlefield killings on CNN, ... all released to the public.

definitely curious.

The Corbett Report Wrote:When Obama pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead in a televised announcement heard round the world last night, he was at least the ninth major head of state or high-ranking government official to have done so.

Given Bin Laden’s documented kidney problems and consequent need for dialysis, government officials, heads of state and counterterrorism experts have repeatedly opined that Osama Bin Laden has in fact been dead for some time. These assertions are based on Bin Laden’s failing health in late 2001 and visible signs of his deteriorating condition, as well as actual reports of his death from the same time frame.

So, Osama Bin Laden was pronounced dead several times before in the last ten years. This is not the first time. So his death may have occurred earlier although there is no certainty.
