I think some women are naturally prone to it. I know one woman who had it done both times she was giving birth.

Natural birth vs c-section both have their positives and negatives. I'm just happy mom and baby are both doing fine. Still super excited for LittlePoet

There was this woman on the labor room next to us that was there 2 days, but was delivering this morning. My wife is ofc tired and frustrated.

In America when they induce labor they break your water with a metal hook (it freaking hurts if you're not dilated). So if you don't deliver within 24 hours you have to do a c-section. I've got my fingers crossed for Mrs.Poet, hopefully not much longer. Is she dilated at all?

Still 3 centimeters. Or as the nurses say, 3 fingers.

Did they try to strip the membranes? It's not comfortable but it tends to speed things up.

Well sweet LittlePoet just isn't quite ready to come out yet, I guess. I don't know what kind of meds they offer there but maybe they could slow down whatever induction meds they're giving and let wifey catch a nap. Being in labor is exhausting. If you lived closer I would send over some chocolate or something. Hang in there Group Hug

Lmao! It sounds scarier than it is! If your water didn't break before you got to the hospital with your son they probably broke yours that way too! It's common procedure to break the water here, most women don't even notice. It only hurts if you're not dilated at all.

Any body got any home remedies to start labor or have it progress?

In my youth I'd hear a dose of castor oil and a rough ride. No, not ride the woman. Put her in a car and drive over rough terrain.
