Presidential candidates don't get sick ever. I think this must be an imposter. D:

Well, when you are talking about a 68 year old woman with a history of health problems that were about to make leader of the free world, I'd say its a huge concern. Especially given that as you well know, pneumonia is a common secondary.

I don't see what makes it a big concern. I get pneumonia all the time...

Honestly, I don't like either candidate. I would absolutely predict that Trump supporters would rush to his defense if the same thing happened to him. This is such a non-issue either way.

What about when the only other choice is a 70 year old psychiatric case?

Doesn't refute the fact she's seriously ill though.

It's a good thing that wasn't my point, then.

Well, it sorta is relevant, and to the larger election as well. I think campaigning is more immediately stressful than actually holding the office -- and we know that stresses reduces resistance to infections.

If you're going to compare her to "everyone", then we'd have to see "everyone's" activity cycle and stress level in order to get a baseline on her general healthiness.

It's worrisome, because while holding the office of POTUS might not be as strenuous as campaigning, it is still a pretty stressful position. It isn't enough to change my voting priorities, though.

Not everyone runs for president, either.

Right, so shouldn't we be more concerned with her health if she's running for such a serious position?

So at least you agree we should take her current illness seriously instead of saying it is a 'storm in a teacup' like some people here are saying?

I'm sure it isn't but all I'm saying is it's pretty strange to me why people on here are acting as though it isn't an issue/problem or at the very least something to be concerned about. I'm very aware this isn't going to suddenly make everyone Trump fans, but it also shows these same people calling them conspiracy theorists have a fair bit of egg on their face now.

You're not 68 doing non-stop travelling around the country though, pneumonia kills people.

Yes. Yes, it does. So does the flu. That doesn't mean it is a grave illness every time.

But Clinton is being treated and is fine. It's almost like everyone wants her to be gravely ill.

You are clutching at straws over an illness.
