The Sad Thing Is....

The Sad Thing Is....
Camping's followers will probably fall for his bullshit all over again.....religious twits are astonishingly stupid.

Quote: Harold Camping, 89, takes to radio to claim that God did not want us to suffer for five months - instead he will make everything happen at once

The preacher who predicted the end of the world has taken to the airwaves to reveal why we are all still here.

Harold Camping, 89, said he was 'astounded' when May 21 came and went without the Rapture.

But he is already examining new theories... including the possibility that God, being merciful, did not want mankind to suffer for five months, and so will end the world all at once on October 21 instead.

RE: The Sad Thing Is....
I just saw this before I came here on Yahoo and here is one senctence from that article I found quite interesting.
Quote:Saturday was "an invisible judgment day" in which a spiritual judgment took place, he said. But the timing and the structure is the same as it has always been, he said.
So in other words...I fucked up, but I didn't.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

I'm almost tempted to thank God Harold Camping has retired from civil engineering.

So basically he's given himself a 5 month reprieve, but I wonder what his excuse will be when nothing happens in October?

He probably figures he will be dead by then.

I think he knows that this is not true but only doing this as an experiment to see how stupid some people can be.

Or maybe he's doing this for attention/popularity.
Or to make himself a clown.
Or all of the above.

He should examine the theory that god is vengeful, and wish to discredit bible based hucksters like himself in this world before frying their souls in a lake of fire in the next.

This man needs to put himself to good use and volunteer himself for laboratory tests.
Trudging through endless religion one step at a time.

No useful result can come from such meager ingredients.

He's getting just what he wants and has you all giving it to him, attention.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
