Nothing is everything.

RE: Nothing is everything.
Jack... this had and has absolutely nothing to do with time ^_^

There is no such being as a 'negative' thing in reality. If it exists: it is positive. It wasn't I who proposed the system as 1 and -1, you know Tongue

Nothing = Nothing

Everything = Everything

You can't have both.

There is no such thing as nothing.
Show me nothing...
Show me nothing.
You can never show me nothing.

Anything that is nothing will always have a definition.

If everything is nothing, then you have both.

Have you mental difficulties?

What is nothing?

I never said nothing exists. Someone else did.
I/d like a twelve page thread on nothing.
Philosophy ALWAYS comes down to definition.

It only serves to highlight are own weakness in defining our world.

Nothing is itself. If it were anything else, it would not be nothing.

A glass is itself. If it were anything else, it would not be a glass.

Nothing exists. It always must exist so long as there is not a thing everywhere (surely you'll see why it must be if you read over that again.).

Philosophy always comes down to 3 laws of logic being taken on faith as true (for else what is a definition if identity can be both contradicted and not and something else?).

I don't consider existentialism a weakness Heart

Well, yeah, if it was "a" thing it could not be "no" thing. Sae is just crazy, but she would tell you that. Smile Nothing is a paradoxical designation.

True to a point, Rhizo... I would tell you I am crazy XD

Nothing must be a thing if it is infact anything. And it is as much something as everything. This is because nothing exists, and is a thing. In the same sense as everything is a thing. Each of them one thing, nothing everything, and everything not nothing so long as everything is something more than nothing Heart

That much is tautological and must necessarily be so... of course I am also quite quite mad, and loony, and quite possibly gone over the edge and sang a lullaby to a pink chip ticklish singalong song la de da de da hmm ^_^

RE: Nothing is everything.
Everything and nothing are simplistic descriptions of man-made concepts used to define our infinitely complicated world..

To have a debate about "Nothing is Everything" is just to prove we know NOTHING about EVERYTHING.

There is no such thing as a perfect definition. Otherwise we'd be GOd.

And you'd all fucking hate that. that would be Game over.

RE: Nothing is everything.
Nothing doesn't exist because nothing (no thing) has itself a default value of being an abstract concept and a definition. Since it has something it can't be nothing because nothing = nothing and something = something. Therefore nothing doesn't exist or is paradoxial at best, but great as a concept Big Grin

Is that about the gist of things.. pardon my not reading the 12 pages on nothing... which is another evidence of nothing = something Tongue
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
