RE: Apparitions from heaven???

There's a lot of info out there about it if anyone is interested in looking into it.
Here's a website that has several proposed natural explanations for what happened, and why none of them really add up:

As for pictures, there are pictures of the crowds' reaction as well as a couple pictures of the sun:

Though there's nothing extraordinary looking about the sun in the picture, since it's just a picture and not a video that would have shown it moving.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Black and white and grainy.
As for the crowd looking and pointing, a crowd tends to do that if someone cries wolf. It's called mass psychosis.
But even if you subscribe to religion - the Catholic brand - doesn't the date raise any flags? If it was god, he certainly had some curious ideas picking that spot instead one of the many conflagrations being offered to really make an entrance. Maybe afraid of being shot at, who knows?

What do you mean?

I'm still wondering which part of the story is the biggest miracle - the Sun moving around the sky, the Earth not being affected by the rapidly-shifting gravitational and tidal effects, or that nobody else on the daylight side of the planet (not to mention a sizable portion of the terminator and beyond) noticing anything out of the ordinary.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

But why would He have the miracle of the sun happen in war grounds? There were thousands of civilians there.

Obviously not even five miles outside the love-in for their particular brand of god.

The miracle was that the sun moved around in the sky for about 10 minutes at the exact day and time the children predicted, in front of the thousands of people who were gathered at that spot.

Why indeed? You may notice that it's always a one horse town where these supposed miracles happen. Not anywhere where millions of people could have witnessed it. Or millions of soldiers and their commanders, for that matter, in the case of Fatima. Didn't have much of an impact on them, one would think, since the war went on for another 18 months.
So, totally useless expense of energy, since only a few thousand people in the vicinity got impressed.

Or so they say.

That's the story, yes. How was the rest of the Solar System not affected? Why did nobody outside this one tiny village not notice anything? You can see the effects of the Sun's apparent diurnal motion every day. Have the Sun nipping about the sky off its axis and more than half the planet is going to spot something odd, even if everything else is equal.
