All radiometric dating methods are based on assumptions about events that happened in the past. If the assumptions are accepted as true (as is typically done in the evolutionary dating processes), results can be biased toward a desired age. In the reported ages given in textbooks and other journals, these evolutionary assumptions have not been questioned, while results inconsistent with long ages have been censored.  Therefore completely useless.

Guys, I see we've found an expert!

Do tell us, poor ignorant idiot atheists: what are those assumptions and why are they false, again?
Maybe you should start by telling us how those methods are supposed to work...?

Also, how did you arrive at thousands of years?
Would bursts of excess radiation from the sun or the cosmos around affect radiometric dating? Like when the earth's mag field drops/flips.

They have to keep it simple.  That's all that christards like Eddie can handle.

Atheists are Immoral, this proves therefore atheism is false along with Stalin, Hitler, Napolean and Lenin and all that.
[*]

Atheism is false. Good one. Snappy!
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

How can atheism be false when I am an atheist?

To answer the OP:

Nothing. Quit preaching here already. That shit's been tried before and hasn't worked. You aren't the first and you won't be the last to attempt this here.

The question is a silly question in of itself.

Irrelevant; and not your call to make. At least you recognise the inherent silliness of your question.

Were I to know what you are thinking, how would that prove I am God as opposed to merely telepathic?

I'll turn water into wine for you, if you like.

No you don't. All you see is a collection of alphanumeric characters. You know nothing about what may be behind the forum account under this name.

Irrelevant; we're not talking about books. Regardless, you don't know any of this; you're merely assuming. I am claiming to be God, so by default I am in the bible.

And it's "you're".

I already gave you the Universe, not to mention raising myself from the dead for your sins. Isn't that enough to convince you?

Of that I have no doubt; but there's no useful information in white noise.

So in summary:

I - and others - would be satisfied with one, simple, concrete and compelling piece of evidence for your god that is unambiguous and not explained by, or explicable of, anything else; whereas you want a magic trick and confirmation of a fairytale.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Kill yourself.  Slit your throat with a big knife and come back from the dead.

BTW, we would want a physician to certify that you were dead.  You have three days to manage it.

Don't forget to film it for youtube.

I already did that schtick last time. Like I said back in the day, do not put the Lord thy God to the test.

Wait few more days after I am done with the 30/30 rule and I'll post the video.

YouTube video Called"Evolution VS Creation | Evolution a Myth Part 3/12"

Doesn't show up when I search for it... but I won't hold my breath in anticipation of a proper dismantling of radiometric dating methods.

The very fact that you rely on a crummy youtube video makes it obvious that you don't understand how it works. And it's very likely that whoever made that video is either equally ignorant, or is actively deceiving you.

You see... I have a college degree in Physics... and a PhD to go with it... I understand how those things work.
You, on the other hand, don't... and you are ignorant enough to believe whatever someone says that agrees with your preconceived notions.

Some time ago, a friend of mine started consuming the core of peach pits. If you search for it, there are countless sites out there advocating its anti-cancer and pro-healing properties. Research done, he took what a friend of his had told him, added the two and started doing it.
When he told me about it, I searched for actual studies done on the subject. Turns out there was at least one. Non-conclusive, was the main result. So, it's the same as a placebo.
I showed it to him and, of course, he stopped gathering up peach pits and eating the core...

We are easily swayed to go along with some idea that we can't readily debunk.
Armed with this little piece of information about how most human minds work, Do you think you are also subject to such a flaw?
No? Why would you think that your mind is any different? Why would you think that you can't be swayed by a bad idea?

Why believe in a god if you can't test him/her/it?
