If they are families that have children and have been here for a long time, I'd say let them stay. If it's some dude who just trespassed the border here recently, I'd say take him back. If he really wants to come, there's a legal way of doing it.

This is another message that the media got wrong..

He is not doing onmass deportations of illegals.

He has been saying that all CRIMINAL Illegals will be rounded up and sent back. Meaning murders and rapists/'the bad hombre's' will be deported. No more 'sanctuary cities.'

Which is an insane idea if you look up what those are. Why flood our prisons with people who are convicted criminals when they do not belong here to begin with?

Trump wants to send all of the trouble makers home. Then he said we will look at who is left. Meaning we have to vet those who are here.

Yeah, that's what I just saw him say in the interview... which I was surprised to hear. Popular belief is he hates all immigrants and wants to send them all back lol. As much as I don't like the guy, let's at least be fair here.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Popular belief is also the trumpsters belief...and it's not as if he didn't work very hard to make it so.  Fair?  To whom, certainly not to his supporters.  Poor bastards elected a cuckservative.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. The problem is how expensive it would be and whether or not it would actually be effective. Overall it seems kind of a dumb idea.

Here's a good video about it I posted in another thread.  Of course, the conservatives here will just dismiss as liberal hogwash, but there's some good food for thought in there, like the fact that only half of undocumented immigrants actually come over that border and they're actually less likely to commit crime than a U.S. citizen.

Oh, and anyone that tells you that a wall will stop drug trafficking knows nothing about drug trafficking.

Watched it. Can't say I disagree with anything the guy says.

Fair as in based on what? On his say so? He said quite a lot during his campaign and flip flopped a lot when challenged on what he said. So what is the real Trump to be fair with?

The whole world will judge him by his actions. And that's all that ultimately matters, since talk is cheap.

Quote:What we discovered in Mr. Trump’s first television interview as president-elect, was that some of his signature issues at the heart of his campaign were not meant to be taken literally, but as opening bids for negotiation.

He said what he said to get into Americas knickers and America has no choice now but to let him fuck them all.

Where do you get your unbiased news from?

There is no unbiased news. You have to read it all to see what gets ignored here or emphasized there. The sources to watch out are those that claim to be unbiased. NPR, CNN, NYT and all the rest are deluding themselves and not to be trusted uncritically. At least FOX anchors and talk radio hosts know what they are.

Exactly, fair and balanced, just like the tagline said.  Oh Neo, why do you tie your dick into knots so predictably?

He's married to an immigrant... How could that be true?

Like most people who have immigrated legally and went through all the vetting and testing he simply wants EVERYONE to go through that same process.

The media simply changed what trump said and added their own spin to it. That's why there is so much contrast between popular view, and the documented plan.

I didn't see any questions just unfounded narrative.

For example the majority of ILLEGALS who come here are not likely to commit a crime...

SERIOUSLY??? Do I really need to unravel that enigma for you?

I'm pissed enough at Hillary I don't give a rat's ass if Trump puts her in Gitmo or not.  And if he does, there otta be big blow up pictures of her goddam fucking e-mail server on all the walls, the floor, and the fucking ceiling. She can wake up and go to sleep every fucking day looking at the fucking thing.

And maybe some pinups of Anthony "wanna touch my fucking' Weiner on her cell walls too.  Shudda offed that motherfucker instead of Vince Foster.

And a great case could be made for quite a few other members of the Hillary Gang to do some serious time in some nasty shithole too.

He's not gonna prosecute her. It's only been a few days and he's already changed his tone about that.

Actually he didn't.
He simply said they are 'good people' and that they have bigger things to do first.. He never said they were not going to look into things. Honestly I think he needs to wait till things settle down first, then examine things. Otherwise he will make her a martyr for all the protesters.

You left of center guys read way too much into things that you fill in the gaps and assume things that have not been declared.

He was being vague on purpose, but leaning on the side that would silence his opposition.

The NY times saw through what he said:
