I haven't had many dealings with staff individually as staff but I think they do a wonderful job. I dread to think what this (or any) forum would be like without moderators... overwhelmed with spam and whatever else, but I don't think in all the time I've been here that I've ever seen any spam... so that means it's all cleared up before I even get the chance to see it. So thank you reddies and greenies for tirelessly filtering the rule-breaking content of this site so much so that I've never seen what most of it even is

One of the perks of being a mod is we get to inflict various torments and indignities on the spammers that show up here.
You can't imagine the thrill of hearing a spammer begging for the blessed relief of death and yet know their punishments have scarcely begun.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Sometimes vorlon gets dark.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

From the Sun-Herald:
It was Halloween, but the driver wasn’t in costume. In fact, he was naked, police say, with wires protruding from his penis. And he was summoning a stranger.
Police on Thursday released information about the incident and charged 56-year-old Kurt Jenkins with lewd and lascivious behavior, indecent exposure and resisting arrest without violence.
Jenkins, who cops said sported an electronic device on his penis, sexually propositioned a 41-year-old man after calling him over to his Toyota, according to the incident report.

The man did not get into the car when Jenkins opened the door, police said. But he snapped a picture of the wired genitals to show officers responding to a 911 call.

But should you be releasing your real name in the public forum, Kurt?

I keep bragging up electro-stim, and at least someone in Florida was paying attention.
The rest of you twits are missing out on some serious fun!
(not sure how anyone could electro-stim and drive at the same time though . . . . )

and I suppose you realize I've electro-stimmed some of the more attractive and hirsute spammers that we've netted here . . .

You say that like it's a bad thing. I keep telling you Steel, there is no greater joy in life than to watch as the cumulative energy of a thousand coruscating supernovae seeps into the atoms of those that have irked this fine forum, and eradicates them from existence, leaving only the echoes of their dying screams.

Yes, I've heard disturbing rumours about these goings on. Deep below the sunken city of R'lyeh, in the very bowels of the forum there's a place... a place with no name... a place where CD slithers out of his tomb to at night, the Valkyrie brings her chainsaw, you bring your horn, and LP brings his... erm... furballs. A place where spammers and trolls and socks (oh my), spend their last miserable hours in this mortal coil in your company before being mercifully released to go and bother some other forum. We, loyal subjects at the mercy of the Red and Green Gods, only see the very tip of the iceberg of these poor souls' last hours in the bannings thread.
Anyway, gotta go out... laters
