Guys do you believe Howard Storm's NDE?
RE: Guys do you believe Howard Storm's NDE?
If anyone ever needed a reason to believe Rik was a deliberate troll, there you go.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

How could you feel the fire burning if you don't have a body?
The hell is all about a lack of God.
It is a mental suffering and it is not permanent.
As soon as people wake up and grow up the hell vanish like the clouds vanish as the sun and the winds blow them away.  Lightbulb

So the parts that you don't agree with about his NDE are just illusory, the other parts are real.  Got it.

Fail once again yog.  Diablo  Panic  Diablo

Storm had to go trough that MENTAL hell for a reason.
He was an atheist.
Atheism = no God.....
No God  = mental hell.
That is what hell is all about.
It is a lack of God so Storm had to go through that mental hell in order to understand what it means NO GOD.
Once he was shown what it means to be without God Storm could go on and understand how the whole system works.
GOT IT YOG?

Mental hell sounds alot like imaginary hell to me. You telling us that storm had an imaginary nde, about his imaginary death, wherein he visited imaginary hell?

Well, if you like to follow our friend yog in her failing welcome aboard Khem.
But now let me explain why Storn's NDE was real.
Anyone with a duodenal perforation feel the pain of hell and Storm felt the pain of hell.
No doubt about that which is also confirmed by Storm.
All of a sudden the pain is gone without having the surgery yet.
You tell me why Khem?
The only possibility is that the consciousness get disconnected from the body and that means an NDE
but if you think that you know how that is possible please tell us why.  Worship

There are other states of consciousness in which we don't feel pain even though the stimulus is present, dissociated states.  No pain =/= no body.

Wikipedia Wrote:In accordance with the traditions, many religious devotees will perform ritualized mutilation upon themselves and one another (with the consent of, context and understanding of all involved and the practice itself) while under a trance-like state, including but not limited to: impaling through cheeks, arms, face, legs, back etc., with everything from as small as syringes to as large as is agreed upon between all members; partial skinning (the skin is not removed, just cut and flipped over); slashing of limbs, chest, stomach and especially tongue with swords, axes and knives; bloodletting; removal of tissue (normally limited to cysts) and intentionally wrapping or standing near fire crackers as they are lit.

This is done without anesthetic, always inside or near the temples surrounded by other devotees with only iodine, petroleum jelly and surgical gloves as precautionary measures....

I knew that you would come up with that.  Smile
Unfortunately you forgot one very important thing yog.
Those examples that you bring up and that I did show you in the past come after a trance state which
again come after a period of fast and meditation which is not what Storm went trough.
Not only that but Storm problem was caused by a diseases which was unavoidable while the self inflicted cuts in your and my examples were fully controlled by the trance states.

Fail again yog.  Wink

Hahaha. First off, you're all "it can't happen." Now you're all "Ya but, ya but." You're such a joke.

I'm not saying Howard Storm did it like the festival participants, only that such states are possible for the mind.

And all you've got in exchange is a litany of excuses.
