it's really fun you get to do kidsy stuff. you get to do stuff like playdoh. you can go to school and sometime it gets a little boring but it can be interesting and fun.

Sharing photos must be done with extreme care and better leave that for when you have a job.

Do talk about stuff, share your thoughts on the themes being discussed.
Sometimes, you'll come across people with different opinions from your own... Try to understand why they think differently. It's mostly useless to try to change their minds.

Some people just want to have fun at other's expense. Sometimes, these are easy to spot and ignore... Sometimes, they're difficult to spot and we may end up feeling abused... I guess it's the same in real life.

But, behind the keyboard, many make themselves seem "bigger", "badder" and "stronger" than they really are. Don't be intimidated by those people behind their screens and keyboards.

Think for yourself and, when in doubt, ask an adult for guidance. You have two very competent and knowledgeable ones nearby. Never forget them.

Response to tori:

"Interesting" is the best word to describe atheist forums.

It gives me a chance to talk to people who have a different way of thinking, and in doing so I am able to learn and grow. I like it here and have made some good friends.

I remember my 8th birthday although it was 30 years ago, and I don't remember many individual days from when I was 8. My parents had set up a treasure hunt in the nearby forest for the kids I invited. While we were in the forest it started pouring down on us like crazy and everyone got to wear my stuff because all the kids' clothes were soaking wet.
